At the end of 2022, Female Project expanded its portfolio by introducing a Spanish premium eyewear brand specializing in blue light lenses to the UAE market.
We are the official distributors of the brand in the region and we are strategically placing it in key locations with our retail partners leaders in their sectors.
By the end of 2024, Barner glasses will be available at over 70 locations across the UAE, 5 in Oman, 5 in Qatar and over 10 POS in Saudi Arabia, our latest market expansion.

Uterqüe, Dolce & Gabbana & IWC Schaffhausen.
Our founder journey in UAE began with Uterqüe in Mall of the Emirates, where she and her team achieved double-digit annual growth and positioned the store to rank among the brand’s top three worldwide. She achieved top global sales transforming completely the store by optimizing inventory management, implementing effective team training and motivation programs, and enhancing customer relationships through personalized service from her dedicated sales team, among other retail strategies.
Immediately following, she encountered her greatest professional challenge to date with the new Dolce & Gabbana store in Dubai Mall. She was grateful to have been part of the management team responsible for opening the three-floor store, leading a team of 40 retail sales professionals, building a loyal clientele elevating the service at the highest luxury standards, and organizing brand's first fashion show in the Middle East.
It is noteworthy how, at IWC Schaffhausen in Dubai Mall, she and the team navigated the challenging months of the pandemic. All the team worked diligently to maintain relationships with their local clients and to revive business during those difficult times.

Born and raised in Spain, Carmen holds an MBA for fashion and luxury industries. She has a distinguished career spanning over a decade in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East working for the top luxury and fashion brands in the world.
Her passion and expertise have driven her to establish Female Project as the go-to distributor for Spanish brands seeking to expand in the GCC.
